      Which network are you using to subscribe? If it is etisalat network and you are getting such error message, simply remove your sim card from the gionee phone, put it on another small phone and subcribe. Once, the subscription is successful (dial *228# to check ); return your sim back to your gionee phone and start browsing.

      I also use an android pone and if i try loading 1000 for 1GB its always giving me an error message that i am not eligible for the plan.

      Every Telecom network in Nigeria has its own hitches. I afraid rating a network, there are all disappointing. Since the conversion of etisalat to 9mobile, the network has turn to something else.
